Fast Daily News is an independent digital publication covering international news, geopolitics, technology, business and global events. It has been published from London, United Kingdom, since October,2025.
Our aim is to explain significant events clearly, not only what happened, but why it matters and what may follow. We are not trying to be first to publish. We are trying to be worth reading once you arrive.
Who Runs This Site
Fast Daily News is written, edited and published by Julia M, an independent writer, editor and publisher based in London.
Julia founded Fast Daily News to provide accurate, well-sourced coverage of international news, geopolitics, technology, business and global events. She writes and edits every article on the site and is responsible for all editorial decisions.
This is a one-person publication. There is no newsroom behind it, no wire service subscription and no reporting staff. That shapes what we can and cannot do, which is set out plainly below. We would rather you knew our limits than assumed capabilities we do not have.
Julia M is the name under which the editor writes and publishes. Editorial responsibility rests with one identifiable person, who can be reached directly at contact@fastdailynews.news and who answers for everything published here.
How We Work
Because we do not have reporters in the field, our credibility rests entirely on method. This is ours.
We do not report from the scene. We are a desk operation. Our articles are built from the reporting of established news organisations, primary documents, court filings, official statements and public records, not from our own on-the-ground journalism.
We attribute everything. Where a fact comes from another outlet’s reporting, we name that outlet in the text. Where a claim rests on a primary document, a government press release, a recorded vote, a court order, we link to it directly so you can check it yourself rather than take our word for it.
We distinguish what is confirmed from what is not. When accounts conflict, we say so and present both. When something has not been independently verified, we state that in the article rather than letting the phrasing imply more certainty than we have.
We use real photographs. Images accompanying our reporting are licensed stock photography, public-domain government imagery, or otherwise properly sourced, and are credited where the licence requires it. We do not use AI-generated imagery to depict real people, real places or real events.
On the use of AI tools. We use AI assistance for research, background reading and drafting support. We do not publish machine-generated copy unedited. Every article is checked against its sources and edited by a person before it goes live, and responsibility for what appears here rests with the editor named above.
We date our archive material. Where an article covers events from an earlier period, it carries a clear note at the top saying so. We do not present past reporting as current.
Corrections
We will get things wrong. When we do, we fix them openly.
Corrections are made on the article itself, with a dated note at the foot explaining what changed. We do not quietly edit published pieces to remove errors.
If you spot a factual error, email contact@fastdailynews.news with the article link and what you believe is incorrect. We aim to respond within two working days.
Independence and Funding
Fast Daily News is independently owned and operated. It is not affiliated with any political party, campaign, government body, advocacy group or commercial sponsor, and receives no funding from any of them.
The site is funded by display advertising. Advertisers have no involvement in what we cover or how we cover it, and no advertiser is shown an article before publication.
We do not publish sponsored content or paid placements. If that changes, this page will say so.
What We Cover
Our regular subjects are international news and geopolitics, global security, politics, business and economics, and technology.
We do not cover celebrity news, sport or lifestyle. Being clear about the edges is part of being clear about the middle.
