Pop superstar Justin Bieber is returning to his digital roots — but this time, it’s not YouTube. The “Peaches” singer surprised fans by debuting on Twitch. He announced that he plans to stream almost every day. He is preparing for his major headlining performance at Coachella 2026.
“This is going to be our space for the next few months. I’m so excited.” Bieber said this during his first stream, as reported by Billboard. “I’m putting together an incredible show for Coachella. I can’t wait to share the process, which includes getting the team together, finding inspiration, and having fun.”
Bieber encouraged fans to tune in regularly, promising near-daily livestreams. “It’s gonna be awesome,” he added with his trademark enthusiasm.
A Glimpse into Bieber’s Streams
In Friday’s broadcast, Bieber and a group of friends shot basketball with the guidance of a professional coach. Afterward, they had a relaxed discussion about the game. Previous streams have given fans a behind-the-scenes look at his show rehearsals. They have also captured moments of him skateboarding and playing pool.
From YouTube Prodigy to Twitch Creator
Bieber is now 31. He first gained fame at age 12. He uploaded cover songs by Alicia Keys, Ne-Yo, and Lil Bow Wow on YouTube. These videos caught the eye of his former manager, Scooter Braun. Since then, Bieber has released eight albums. He has evolved into one of the world’s biggest pop stars. Now, he appears to be embracing a new chapter in livestreaming.
The Canadian star will headline Coachella 2026 in Indio, California, sharing the main stage with Sabrina Carpenter and Karol G. Other major acts on the lineup include Devo, The Strokes, David Byrne, and Interpol. Also performing are Iggy Pop, Teddy Swims, and FKA Twigs. There will be a special collaboration between Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize, performing as Nine Inch Noize.
Reports suggest Bieber is set to earn around $10 million for his Coachella performance. This figure would make him the highest-paid artist in the festival’s history.
A New Chapter for Bieber and Family
Beyond music, Bieber’s personal life has also seen big changes. He and his wife, Hailey Bieber, welcomed their first child, Jack Blues, in August 2024. The couple, who married in 2018, have been open about balancing family life with their careers.
Coachella 2026 is already sold out. It will take place across two weekends — April 10–12 and April 17–19. The festival promises to be one of the most anticipated in years.
